Hi. This being my first blog, I'm going to say I'm still getting a feel for this. But hopefully I'll have it all figured out after a while. Anyways, this blog is about Go. I've been playing the game for coming up on 4 years, and I figured I'd start a blog about it. So, I'll start with some basic rules.
1. the game is played with two people
2. there are two sets mof playing pieces, called stones, in black and white
3. the board on which you play is usually a 19X19 line intersection board
4. you place stones on the intersecting lines, called points
5. black always goes first
6. you qin by surrounding territory and capturing your oponents stones by surrounding them
7. the game is over when there are no more stones, or all the territory on the board is captured
For more rules, you can head over to wikipedia and look up Go, but there are a lot of circumstances in which different rules apply.
Anyways, for now I'm just going to put updates, pictures of games, a video or two explaining hardware or software, etc, etc. So, I will update soon.
